Ivan Visconti  

I am an assistant professor (ricercatore) at the Dipartimento di Informatica ed Applicazioni, Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences of the University of Salerno, in Salerno, supported by Dipartimento di Informatica ed Applicazioni, Università di Salerno, ECRYPT II and PEPPER.

I got my Laurea (M.Sc. equivalent) cum laude in Computer Science in 1998 (first in my class) and my PhD in Computer Science in 2003 from Università di Salerno. Then I have been a temporary researcher at the University of Salerno and post-doctoral researcher in Paris, at the Département d'Informatique of the École Normale Supérieure, in the Crypto Team.

In 2002, I have been visiting researcher (4 months) at the IBM Research Laboratory, Zurich. In 2006, I attended the long-term program Securing Cyberspace: Applications and Foundations of Cryptography and Computer Security at IPAM, Los Angeles. In August 2008, and partially in 2009, 2010 and 2011 I have been visiting researcher at the Center for Information and Computation Security of the Computer Science Department of UCLA , Los Angeles. In November 2008 I have been visiting researcher (1 week) at Microsoft Research, Redmond. In February 2008, December 2008, February 2010 and August 2010 I have been visiting researcher at the Chair for System Security, Bochum.
