I got my Laurea (M.Sc. equivalent) cum laude in Computer Science in 1998
(first in my class) and my PhD in Computer Science in 2003 from Università
di Salerno. Then I have been a temporary researcher at the University of Salerno
and post-doctoral researcher in Paris, at the
Département d'Informatique
of the École Normale Supérieure,
in the Crypto Team.
In 2002, I have been visiting researcher (4 months) at the
IBM
Research Laboratory, Zurich. In 2006, I attended the long-term program
Securing Cyberspace: Applications and Foundations of Cryptography and Computer
Security at IPAM,
Los Angeles.
In August 2008, and partially in 2009, 2010 and 2011 I have been visiting researcher at the
Center for Information and Computation
Security of the Computer Science Department of UCLA , Los Angeles. In November 2008 I have been visiting researcher (1 week)
at Microsoft Research, Redmond.
In February 2008, December 2008, February 2010 and August 2010 I have been visiting researcher at the
Chair for System Security, Bochum.
