How to get to Ravello

Ravello is reachable only by bus from Amalfi. See here a map of the path from your home to Ravello and the map of Ravello with meeting and hotels point. 

Pay attention to the validity of the timetable for buses and/or ferryboat for the conference's days!!!

Direct connection

The organization provides transfers from Napoli (Airport or Central Station) to Ravello and from Salerno railway station to Ravello. Each tranfer is for at most three persons and costs 100 Euro from Naples and 70 Euro from Salerno. If you want to get this opportunity, please contact the organizers (Mrs. Suita Carrano, Hotel Bonadies).

How to reach Ravello from Amalfi

Once you have reached Amalfi, you can reach Ravello only by bus. Click here for seeing the complete timetable. Tickets are available at the Tourist Information near the big plaza in Amalfi.   

How to reach Amalfi from Naples 

To reach Amalfi from Naples you can either take a bus or take an hydrofoil. From Napoli Capodichino Airport, Alibus service provides direct connections to the railway station at Piazza Garibaldi (if you want to take SITA bus for Amalfi) and to Piazza Municipio-Molo Beverello (where you can take the hydrofoil to reach Amalfi). The ticket costs 3 Euro and may be purchased on board the bus. The bus departs every 30 minutes. Informations may be found here.   

Naples-Amalfi by bus.

The bus services is provided by SITA and the most convenient bus stop is near the railway station in Via Ferraris (INPS building). From Capodichino, Alibus service provides direct connections to the railway station (where you can take SITA bus for Amalfi near INPS building). From the railway station you have to walk 10 minutes to reach the SITA stop in Via Ferraris (INPS building).  

The SITA bus from Naples to Amalfi takes 2 hours and costs 3.15 Euro. The ticket for the bus cannot be purchased oh the bus and is valid only if clipped on the yellow machine on the bus. You can buy tickets in the newspapers. The bus leaves at (click here for seeing the complete timetable via Nocera):  
        
         10:00, 14:15*, 16:15*, 17:15*. 
            * It runs in the working days (Mon-Sat).   

The SITA buses from/to Naples to/from Amalfi run also via Agerola, via Maiori, via Sorrento, but we suggest via Nocera.

Naples-Amalfi by hydrofoil.

The hydrofoil from Naples to Amalfi leaves from Molo Beverello and costs 9 euro. There are two lines: MM2 takes about 1,25' and leaves at 8:50 and 13:45; MM3 takes 2,15' and leaves at 8:45, and 14:15.  
The hydrofoil service to Amalfi is provided by Metro del Mare and leaves from Molo Beverello (you can use Alibus service to reach Molo Beverello from Capodichino Airport).  

How to reach Amalfi from Salerno

Once you have reached railway station of Salerno, you can reach Amalfi either by SITA buses or by ferryboat from the nearby Piazza della Concordia (see the map).

Salerno-Amalfi by bus.

Just in front of the railway station, you find SITA bus for Amalfi (stop in Piazza V. Veneto, next along Corso Garibaldi, near Bar Cioffi). You find also Tourist informations services. The bus trip takes about 70 minutes and the ticket costs 1.80 Euro (UNICO Campania ticket, Fascia E3). You can buy tickets in the newspaper inside the railway station. Remember to clip it on the bus. Salerno-Amalfi by ferryboat.

You can reach Amalfi also by boat from Salerno. A timetable of the connections Salerno-Amalfi-Salerno is given below and a map of the boarding place is available. Piazza della Concordia is a big parking lot with an obelisk in the middle. This square is nearby the railway station: get out of the railway station, go on the right, then take the second street on the left, cross the parking lot and you will see the obelisk. Once you reached the obelisk, you are at Piazza della Concordia and have to go to the Touristic Port, walk for 3 minutes and you will be on the Deck the ferry leaves from (Molo Masuccio Salernitano).

The ferryboat trip takes about 35 minutes and the ticket costs 4 Euro. The hydrofoil trip takes 30 minutes and costs 6 euro. Tickets are available near the boarding place. Connections Naples-Salerno-Naples

You may use the train.  SITA buses easily connect Salerno and Naples (click here for seeing the complete timetable). For our purpose, the best stop in Naples to reach Salerno is located in Via Ferraris (INPS buiding), the trip takes about 50 minutes, costs 3.10 Euro (UNICO Campania ticket, Fascia 5).
